40-gallon breeder tank minimum. Provide climbing branches. Secure hides.

Warm side: 85-90°F. Cool side: 75-80°F. Maintain consistency. No extreme temperatures.

Moderate (60-70%). Provide water bowl. Humidity box with moist substrate helpful.

Nocturnal/crepuscular. UVB beneficial. 12:12 light/dark cycle.

Small mice, rats, occasional frozen prey. Can be food-aggressive. Feed every 7-10 days.

Defensive temperament. Handle sparingly with caution. Best observed rather than handled.
