40-gallon breeder or larger for adults. Provide climbing branches and secure hides. Screen ventilation recommended.

Warm side: 85-90°F. Cool side: 75-80°F. Thermal gradient essential. Avoid excessive heat above 95°F.

Moderate to high (60-80%). Regular misting. Humidity box with moist substrate helps shedding.

Crepuscular/nocturnal. UVB beneficial but not required. 12:12 light/dark cycle important.

Juveniles: pinky mice. Adults: medium-large mice or small rats. Feed every 7-10 days. Can be food-aggressive.
